Veggie Burger With Red Onion and Avocado
I make alot of plant based burgers, I find this method makes them come out juicy and savory here‘s how I do it :
1 red onion sliced in wedges
1 ripe avocado sliced
Marinate the burgers with a few tbs of soy sauce and a drizzle of sesame oil. Heat a skillet or grill pan with a littLe vegetable oil and sauté the onions, after they begin to soften push them to the sides and sear the burgers for 3-4 mins on each side, don’t cook them too long or they’ll get dry. Remove the burgers add a dollop of mustard, ketchup and layer with onion and avocado. Eat on its own or on a toasted bun.
