This is my “white pizza”, so easy to make with any type of pizza crust. I used a store bought cauliflower crust but you can make a home made crust or any type you like. Here’s how I do it:
Ingredients:
1 pizza crust of choice, I used cauliflower
1 head of broccoli cut into florets, smaller is better, steamed till fork tender
4 cloves garlic chopped
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 cup ricotta salata which is a more firm salted ricotta but you can use regular ricotta
1 cup shredded mozzarella
handful of kalamata olives chopped
fresh chopped basil or dried
Heat a skillet with some olive oil add the garlic and pepper flakes simmer 2-3 mins then add the steamed broccoli and simmer 5-10 mins. Add salt to taste, and basil then remove from heat. Set oven to 420F bake the crust 5 mins then remove from heat and add the broccoli to cover evenly then add the olives and both cheeses and drizzle all over with olive oil and bake another 8-10 mins till the crust is golden and crisp.
