The Benefits of Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is more than just making your space smell nice, it has real health benefits. I've been using a good diffuser for years and some of the real improvements I've felt are reduced stress, ease from headaches/nausea and pain relief. Aromatherapy can also help with muscle/joint pain, fight bacteria, virus, fungus, alleviate side effects of chemotherapy , improve focus and boost energy. There are a number of essential oils that can also be ingested but you have to do this safely. I take 5 drops of oregano oil every day, it has a powerful antiviral/bacterial agent that keeps me healthy. It's important to buy pure essential oils without any synthetic chemicals added. Here's a helpful list of essential oils and what they are good for:


Lavender: reduce stress

Peppermint: boost energy, digestion ease headaches

Sandalwood: calm nerves, improve focus

Bergamot: improve skin conditions like eczema, reduce stress

Rose: improve mood reduce anxiety

Chamomile: relaxation

Tea Tree: fight infections, boost immunity

Jasmine: ease depression, childbirth and improve libido

Lemon: aid digestion, mood, headaches

Oregano: boost immunity, anti viral, bacterial fungal
